My name is Kai Teelucksingh, and I am a 18 year old landscape, travel, and nature photographer from Houston, Tx. My journey with photography all started when I was about 10 years old at Makena Beach, Hawaii. Being a surfer, I’ve always been drawn to shore break photography. We were at Makena Beach in Maui, my brother and I were playing around in the shore break and my mom had a little waterproof Nikon coolpix point and shoot camera. I decided that it would be a good idea to take the camera out and try to get a couple of photos in the shore break, and to my surprise, the photos turned out pretty good. After that, I was hooked into photography, similar to how I was with surfing. My photos just progressed from there as I practiced and learned new skills, and now i’m where I’m at today. I am so blessed to be able to document Gods wonderful creations, and I want to thank all of you for your support and for making all this possible for me!
